Working Title: Chief Operating Officer

FLSA Status: Exempt

Posting Salary Range: $180,351 - $307,661

Office Location: Remote in North Carolina

What We’re Looking For:

Trillium Health Resources is seeking a dynamic and strategic Chief Operating Officer (COO) to lead and drive the operations of our organization. The COO will play a key role in overseeing the implementation of our organizational design, programs, and strategic initiatives, with focus on ensuring integrated health outcomes for our members across Physical Health, Behavioral Health, Substance Use, and Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities services. This individual will work closely with senior leadership and cross functional teams to ensure seamless execution and alignment of all operational efforts. 

On a typical day, you might:

  • Be a key advisor to the CEO. 
  • Facilitate the execution of strategy. identify opportunities and pressure test ideas for new products and program innovations that support the long-term organizational goals. 
  • Advance Trillium’s goal to scale access to unmet health related 
  • Engage external industry experts to learn and influence business strategy. 
  • Lead the development and implementation of consistent practices and strategic frameworks.
  •  Lead direct reports to deliver Trillium programs in shaping strategies.

Qualifications: 

Education: Master’s

Experience: 

  • Minimum of seven (7) years’ experience including six (6) years supervisory experience at an executive management level of managed care operations in a Medicaid funded program. 
  •  Must have project management skills necessary to oversee areas of organizational strategic development. 
  • Must have demonstrated leadership skills through both internal and external leadership roles.
  • Must demonstrate excellent public speaking skills. 
  • Must have knowledge of funding streams and demonstrate capacity to manage benefits for members.

 Preferred Experience: 

  • Prefer fifteen (15) years’ experience at an executive management level of managed care operation in a Medicaid funded program. 
  •  Prefer six sigma training and capacity to lead meetings using six sigma methodology. 
  •  Prefer diverse experience with all populations covered by agency. 
  • Prefer extensive knowledge of advancing technological applications.

Must have a valid driver’s license

Must reside in North Carolina to be considered for remote status
