Job Description

 

  • Hands-On active contribution as a leading member of software engineering teams focused on building API based systems delivering highly secure, efficient and robust solutions in an aggressive timeframe.
  • Develop highly scalable and reliable systems supporting consumer and data centric products and services on an AWS cloud-based platform
  • Integrate 3rd Party and Internal API, async, and file-based services utilizing CSV, JSON, or XML data
  • Own deliverables from ideation thru testing/validation and production operationalization
  • Lead, mentor and collaborate with other team members
  • Diligently observe and maintain Standards for Regulatory Compliance and Information Security
  • Maintain accurate, complete and current documentation

Qualifications

 

  • Bachelors, Computer Science or related field preferred or equivalent amount of experience, knowledge, and skills.
  • Exceptionally skilled Front-End Web Engineer with a solid technical background and leadership skills, able work in a fast-paced environment primarily using the latest front-end development practices.
  • 10 to 12 years expert UI programming skills with JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, including extensive experience with Angular, TypeScript, and RxJS
  • Deep technical expertise on JavaScript frameworks and single page application design and development
  • Strong computer science fundamentals, including algorithms, data structures, and design patterns
  • Proficiency with the DOM and asynchronous event-programming models
  • Track record of cross browser development on a large scale public facing application
  • Solid understanding of responsive design, web standards, and UI/UX best practices
  • Experience with blue/green deployments as an application release model
  • Experience using multiple JavaScript/CSS frameworks and libraries (Angular, React, Bootstrap, Storybook, etc.)
  • Deep understanding of software engineering practices, design principles and patterns and unit testing with respective UI frameworks.
  • Proven experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
