Job Title: Inventory Management Planner

Reports to: Manager, Allocations

Location:  Remote

The Role

The Inventory Management Planner is a reactive collaborator with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. They are responsible for the successful execution on inventory management of North America retail stores that fit to company financial goals.  A strong candidate for this role is entrepreneurial and strategic with the ability to partner and effectively communicate with many cross-functional teams.

Your Impact
The primary functions of this role, include but are not limited to:

  • Manage styles from initial allocation through end of life cycle, including replenishment and consolidation of goods through RTW or Transfer to other stores or channels
  • Support Manager with flow forecast of inventory to stores based on sales needs and inventory BOP, turn targets, and changes in delivery timing 
  • Partner and effectively communicate with cross-functional teams, such as Merchandising and the Field.
  • Track and report performance against Merchandise Plans and determine bottom up actions to support top down guidance. 
  • Develop profitable entrance and exit strategies with merchandising for new, seasonal and core replacement programs.
  • Responsible for forecast accuracy.

We’d love to hear from people with

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years of allocation or inventory management in retail environment  
  • Proficient plus in Microsoft Excel with an aptitude to learn technical applications quickly
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

$75,000 - $82,000

The salary range posted reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this role in our Goleta, CA location. Individual pay will be determined by location and additional factors, including job related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary for your preferred location during the hiring process.
