Job description

Managing Technical Consultant - Technical Manager
New York, NY (onsite)
6+Month Contract

Client is seeking a Technical Manager to design and implement Windows 11 solutions and transition remote users from VDI to laptop-based systems. The role requires coordination with technical teams and business users to manage changes and improvements. This is an onsite position in New York with potential travel to local data centers in the NY Metropolitan area (NJ, CT).

Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement Windows 11 upgrades.
  • Transition from VDI for remote users to laptop-based systems.
  • Coordinate with technical teams and business users for system changes and enhancements.
  • Provide detailed documentation and support.

Requirements:

  • Over 15 years of experience in system integration and implementation.
  • Proficiency in Windows 11 upgrades and VDI to laptop transition.
  • Strong oral, written communication, interpersonal, and documentation skills.
  • Experience and understanding of capital markets.
  • Ability to work onsite and travel to local data centers as needed.
