About the Role:

Overview

We are looking for a Principal Product Manager (Identity Graph) to join our team to work across our product and data teams to accelerate our go-to-market strategies. This role will own and manage the strategy and execution of Socure’s identity graph. This position will closely interact with Engineering, Data Science, Sales, and Compliance to support our product roadmap to drive customer satisfaction. Reporting to our SVP of Product, you will be taking on and fully owning one of the most strategic products we have in the works here at Socure.

Role and Responsibilities:
  • Own the strategic vision and execution for Socure’s identity graph: Lead and own the end-to-end strategy for Socure’s identity graph, driving initiatives to improve identity verification accuracy, expand trust networks, and enhance fraud detection. Define the long-term roadmap for leveraging identity graph technologies to link, enrich, and authenticate identities across millions of records, ensuring scalability and high performance in reducing fraud risks.

  • Lead innovation in identity graph technologies: Be the driving force behind Socure’s advancements in identity graph capabilities. Leverage your deep expertise in graph-based technologies—including identity clustering, entity resolution, and link analysis—to enhance how Socure builds, updates, and utilizes its identity graph to detect and prevent fraudulent activities. Use AI/ML techniques to enrich graph data, generate signals, and improve real-time decision-making on identity verification.

  • Cross-functional leadership and influence at scale: Collaborate closely with engineering, data science, fraud analytics, design, and compliance teams to drive graph-based solutions across Socure’s identity verification products. Work with executive leadership to align on a graph-driven strategy, influencing the company’s overall roadmap and ensuring the identity graph is central to achieving Socure’s mission of reducing fraud and maximizing user trust.

  • Mentorship and graph-focused thought leadership: Establish yourself as a thought leader within Socure, specifically around graph theory and its application to identity verification and fraud prevention. Mentor junior PMs and data scientists on best practices for building, scaling, and optimizing graph-based identity solutions. Lead discussions on new methodologies for graph data enrichment, link analysis, and fraud detection models.

  • Shape company-wide outcomes through graph innovations: Take ownership of the graph-centric outcomes that drive Socure’s success in eliminating identity fraud. By evolving and optimizing the identity graph, deliver significant improvements in fraud detection rates, faster verification processes, and enhanced client trust. Your contributions will have a direct impact on Socure’s ability to stay ahead in the digital identity and fraud prevention space.

  • Represent Socure externally as a graph expert: Establish Socure as the industry leader in leveraging graph technology for identity verification and fraud prevention. Present at conferences, publish thought leadership content on identity graphs, and engage with key stakeholders, industry partners, and regulatory bodies to advance graph-based standards for secure identity management.

  • Develop and execute go-to-market strategy: Own the go-to-market strategy for Socure’s identity graph products, ensuring they are well-positioned to meet customer needs. Collaborate with marketing, sales, and product teams to define the pricing, packaging, and positioning that maximizes the value of Socure’s identity graph and fraud prevention capabilities. Drive competitive analysis to ensure Socure’s products stand out in the market, align pricing models to customer segments, and create compelling product packaging that showcases the value of graph-based fraud detection and verification features.

Required Qualifications:
  • 10+ years of product management experience, with at least 5 years focused on building identity graph technologies, with a deep understanding of graph theory, entity resolution, link analysis, and how identity graphs can be leveraged to enhance identity verification, fraud detection, and risk scoring. Proven experience building and optimizing graph-based solutions at scale.

  • Strong technical foundation: Demonstrated ability to work closely with engineering, data science, and machine learning teams. Experience with AI/ML technologies, fraud models, and data-driven decision-making in identity verification contexts is highly preferred.

  • Proven track record of cross-functional leadership: Ability to influence and collaborate with executives and teams across engineering, design, data science, marketing, sales, compliance, and legal to deliver strategic product outcomes.

  • Go-to-market leadership experience: Demonstrated ability to develop and execute go-to-market strategies for complex technical products, including setting pricing, packaging, and positioning for identity verification or fraud prevention solutions. Experience aligning product-market fit with customer needs and creating successful GTM strategies that result in significant business impact.

  • Data-driven decision-making: Expertise in leveraging analytics and data to identify opportunities, prioritize initiatives, and validate product decisions. Familiarity with data sets related to identity verification, fraud scoring, and risk analysis is a plus.

  • Experience working with customers and external stakeholders: Strong ability to engage with customers, partners, and regulatory bodies to gather feedback, understand market needs, and ensure alignment between product offerings and market demand.

  • Exceptional communication and influence skills: Ability to clearly articulate a vision and strategy, as well as communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Proven experience in presenting to senior leadership, external customers, and industry audiences.

  • Thought leadership in identity verification or fraud prevention: Experience presenting at industry conferences, publishing thought leadership content, or contributing to advancements in the digital identity or fraud prevention space.
