The Data Science team is positioned within the Risk Assurance Services (RAS) unit, which is an integral part of the overall Assurance practice. RAS undertakes a variety of complex information security consulting engagements, and business control reviews across a wide range of organizations.

The Role:
As a Lead Software Engineer in the Digital Factory team, you will play a key role in enhancing, building, and delivering trusted, market-leading technology products with a focus on stability, scalability and security. Your expertise and contributions will drive significant business impact, as you leverage deep technical knowledge and advanced problem-solving skills to address a wide range of challenges across various technologies and applications.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Drives the team’s goals, and provides technical guidance and direction to support the business and the Digital Factory team, associated contractors, and vendors.
Drives decisions that influence the product design, application functionality, and technical operations and processes
Effectively communicate complex features and systems in detail
Develops secure and high-quality production code, and reviews and debugs code written by others
Serves as a function-wide subject matter expert in one or more areas of focus
Actively contributes to the engineering community as an advocate of firmwide frameworks, tools, and practices of the Software Development Life Cycle
Influences peers and project decision-makers to continuously improve technical and communication skills through company programs.
Skills and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
Experience leading projects with industry-wide impact.
Experience communicating and working across functions to drive solutions.
Experience in mentoring/influencing senior engineers across organizations.
Proven track record of planning multi-year roadmap in which shorter-term projects ladder to the long-term vision.
Practical experience of Cloud native solutions.
Advanced knowledge of containers (Docker, Kubernetes) and experience with cloud platforms such as GCP, Azure or AWS.
Experience in driving large cross-functional/industry-wide engineering efforts.
