Introduction to Role
As an HRIT Analyst at AstraZeneca, you will use your expertise in analysis, configuration, and other Information Services disciplines, such as architecture, security, or service delivery. You will serve as a primary business contact within defined groups and may coordinate a small team of IS administrators.

Key Responsibilities
- Act as a Functional Analyst, responsible for implementing configuration changes in Workday based on business requirements.
- Collaborate with internal and external HR domain experts to define requirements, recommend solutions, and implement project/data changes.
- Educate business users on system deployment and functionality through formal and informal training sessions.
- Proactively identify continuous improvement opportunities and participate in new release reviews to provide technical mentorship and support.
- Simplify sophisticated business challenges into effective technology solutions.
- Support release management by reviewing release summaries and identifying improvements for the HCM system and related systems.
- Be a great partner with HR partners to identify and address issues, providing timely support.
- Develop hypotheses to explain and prevent usability, process, functional, and data issues.
- Engage in Communities of Practice, such as Business Functional Analysis and Design-related groups.}
Essential Skills and Experience
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in implementation, configuration, and/or functional support of technology solutions (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Workday, PeopleSoft, Salesforce).
- Experience translating business requirements into system-level Functional Specifications.
- Solid ability to influence and empower team members and stakeholders through effective communication and facilitation.
- Hands-on experience with data analysis, manipulation, and conversions.
- Ability to envision and configure sophisticated data flows and workflows.
- Proficient in English (written and verbal).
Desirable Skills and Experience
- Knowledge of HCM Fundamentals, Workday Core Concepts, Workday Security Fundamentals, Time and Absence Fundamentals, and HCM Transactions.
