Duration: Equivalent to minimum 520 Hours (or 3 months minimum)
Work location: Remote (with hybrid options in Toronto only)
Compensation: Hourly (paid in equity compensation equivalent to CAD $32-35/hour)

Role Overview: We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Cloud Intern to join our team. This position is ideal for anyone with a keen interest in cloud computing and infrastructure. As a Cloud Intern, you will work with our cloud engineering team to design, deploy, and manage cloud-based solutions that support our business and technical objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the design and implementation of cloud infrastructure and services.
• Work with Google Cloud Platform to deploy and manage resources.
• Monitor and optimize cloud environments for performance, security, and cost-efficiency.
• Document cloud architecture and operational procedures
• Stay up-to-date with emerging Cloud, DevOps and MLOps practices

Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled or recently graduated from a Master’s or Bachelor's program in Computer Science, Cloud Computing, or a related field. Applicants with experience in the field are also invited to apply.
• Strong understanding of Cloud Computing and DevOps
• Some understanding of MLOps
• Experience with GCP is preferred (AWS and Azure is acceptable)
• Experience in Kubernetes orchestration
• Experience in Terraform scripting
• Proficiency in Python scripting
• Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills
• Able to work in a collaborative environment
• Passionate about working at a startup

Hiring Process:

4. Evaluation: Our team will review the responses to both questionnaires. Candidates who meet our criteria will be invited to the next stage.
5. Orientation Session: Successful candidates will be invited to participate in an orientation session where they will learn more about Vosyn, our projects, and what to expect during the internship. After this session, you will be given the opportunity to opt-in if you choose that this internship is for you.
