Our AI practice is seeking a motivated Graduate AI Cognitive Consultant to join our team and contribute to the design, development, and optimisation of intelligent conversational solutions. As a key team member, you will gain firsthand experience in building and deploying AI-driven virtual assistants and chatbots, collaborating with experienced professionals to address real-world business challenges.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist in gathering and analysing business needs to define conversational AI project requirements.
  • Support the design and development of conversational flows using AI platforms such as Amelia, Kore AI, and Omelia.
  • Help optimise chatbot performance by analysing user interactions and suggesting improvements to intent recognition and conversation design.
  • Participate in integrating conversational AI solutions with enterprise systems (e.g. CRMs, ERPs) and APIs under the guidance of senior team members.
  • Collaborate in workshops and training sessions to learn and contribute to conversational AI best practices
  • Work together with Business Analysts to gather, analyse, and document requirements for AI-driven solutions, ensuring alignment with business objectives and user needs.
  • Contribute to best practices, building of our catalogue of reusable functionality, and adhering to development principals.
  • Ensure data privacy and security by adhering to established compliance guidelines.
  • Stay updated on advancements in conversational AI, NLP, and machine learning technologies.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field completed within the last 3 years
  • Basic understanding of NLP concepts such as intent recognition and entity extraction (coursework or project experience is acceptable).
  • Exposure to conversational AI platforms (e.g. Dialogflow, Rasa, Amelia, Kore AI, Omelia or IBM Watson Assistant) is a plus.
  • Familiarity with programming languages like Groovy, JavaScript, Python, Java or any other object orientated language (academic projects or internships are acceptable).
  • Interest in learning how to integrate AI solutions with databases, RESTful APIs, or enterprise systems.
  • Analytical mindset and critical thinking skills, with a desire to translate ideas into technical solutions.
  • Effective communication skills and eagerness to collaborate in a collaborative environment.
  • Enthusiasm for staying up to date with trends in AI and conversational technologies.
