As part of this vision, we now have an exciting opportunity for a­­­­­n Internship: IGT Mobile Surgery Commercial Enablement based in Amsterdam, The Netherlands.

You’ll get the great opportunity to discover how the Health System Commercial Team works in detail while working for Philips, a company that makes a difference in people’s lives.

We will ask you to:

  • Participate in different projects and have your own set of responsibilities which will allow you to gain important ‘on the job’ experience in the commercial field

  • Be the point of contact and ‘to go’ resource for modality sales specialists and clinical application specialists for (pre-) sales support activities

  • Enable commercial success coordinating the socket replacement program

  • Help develop a database, reporting and monitoring system for frame-agreements

  • Augment the product price intelligence in collaboration with the 8 European Zones

You are the right fit if you:

  • Are currently studying for your Bachelor or Master in: Sales, Business Economics, Business Administration, Business Management, Business Psychology, Marketing

  • Are a team player and you are looking to work with people from different countries in Europe

  • Demonstrate great inter-personal and communication skills and are a strong collaborator

  • Are a self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit and can-do mentality – eager, ambitious, with good organizational skills

  • Have business fluency in English

  • Carry analytics skills: ability to understand and analyze significant amounts of data from Philips dashboards and ability to deep dive ad perform analysis in excel as needed

Duration: 6 months, with the option of extending it to 9 or 12 months by mutual agreement

In return we offer you:

  • Monthly full-time allowance between €500 - €700 gross, depending on educational level and if you would need to relocate to The Netherlands. If you perform a part-time internship you will receive the allowance pro-rata.

  • Housing compensation, in case of relocating to the vicinity of the office, €300,- net if location is in the vicinity of Amsterdam, €255,- net for all other Philips locations. You need to provide a rental contract of the landlord, and your normal home-work travel distance need to be more than 50 km or travel time (one way trip) need to be more than 1.5 hours.

  • Travel compensation, if you are not eligible for a free public transport card; you will receive max. €192,- net

  • Paid holidays per internship term.

  • The opportunity to buy Philips equipment at our Philips shop

IMPORTANT:

Part of our selection procedure is a HireVue online interview recording. We are not able to share the outcome of this HireVue interview but will use this as extra selection criteria.

In order to be considered, you have to be registered as a student during the entire internship period. Formal documentation will be requested. Students from outside the EU enrolled at a Dutch university need to fill in a NUFFIC agreement, or a UNL agreement -- which needs to be signed by the student and the university.
