About the role:

As a Sr. Instructional and Multimedia Designer on AvePoint’s L&D team, you will channel your passion for design, keen eye for detail, and creativity to develop engaging learning experiences that drive business performance. Working alongside other creatives, trainers, and L&D professionals, you will be involved in work ranging from brainstorming the logistics of large learning programs to outlining a microlearning course, and everything in between. You will have an opportunity to combine a passion for learning and education with your enthusiasm for cutting edge technology in order to drive learning for AvePointers. 


Key Responsibilities: 

  • Collaborate with the L&D team to identify training opportunities and design instructional materials that address business needs and drive performance.  
  • Design and develop engaging, informative, and visually compelling learning experiences including eLearning courses, presentation decks, worksheets, and other resources. 
  • Lead on the instructional design and content strategy for key enablement programs, owning the program development from ideation to implementation.  
  • Act as a learning consultant to understand the business' needs around learning and help connect learning strategies. 
  • Create visually appealing and user-friendly learning materials that align with the company's brand guidelines and facilitate the learning process.   
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to project schedules and deadlines.   
  • Stay updated on industry trends, design techniques, and emerging technologies to continuously enhance the quality and creativity of design and animation work. 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product Marketing, Design, product strategy and the people team to understand project objectives and deliver designs that align with business goals.   

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor's degree in education, a related field such as Instructional Design, Educational Technology, or equivalent practical experience. 
  • 3-5 years of experience in Instructional Design or L&D, designing and developing training materials and authoring content to include online/e-learning modules. Experience in developing training for sales enablement is a plus.  
  • Strong attention to detail and a high level of creativity.   
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.   
  • Understanding of adult learning theory and instructional design best practices. 
  • Proficiency in industry-standard design and animation software, including Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Premiere Pro), and other relevant tools is preferred.   
  • Ability to take constructive feedback and iterate to achieve desired outcomes.   
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and the flexibility to adapt to evolving project requirements.   
  • Amendable to work in Makati office 
  • Amendable to work schedule: US/Europe Time (Night shift)
  • Amendable to hybrid setup: 2 days WFH, 3 days onsite
