Job description

Every day, the world gets more digital thanks to tens of millions of developers building the future faster than ever. But with exponential growth comes exponential risk, as outnumbered security teams struggle to secure mountains of code. This is where Snyk (pronounced “sneak”) comes in. Snyk is a developer security platform that makes it easy for development teams to find, prioritize, and fix security vulnerabilities in code, dependencies, containers, and cloud infrastructure — and do it all right from the start. Snyk is on a mission to make the world a more secure place by empowering developers to develop fast and stay secure.

Joining Snyk means embracing our core values: One Team, Care Deeply, Customer Centric, and Forward Thinking. As a member of our team, you’ll have the opportunity to thrive in a dynamic environment where fostering collaboration, leading with empathy, driving business impact, and inspiring trust are at the heart of everything we do.

Snyk, a leader in developer security, has acquired Probely, a modern Dynamic Application Security Testing (DAST) provider with coverage of API security testing and web applications. Probely also powers Security Headers, a popular free and easy to use tool designed to help users to quickly understand and benchmark the security of their web properties

You’ll Spend Your Time:

In this role, you will review specifications documents, create and execute comprehensive test scenarios, identify and report bugs (and improvements), and present possible solutions to deliver the best user experience to our customers. You will collaborate closely with various teams to understand the scope and requirements of the features under development.

  • Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents
  • Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities
  • Create detailed, comprehensive, and structured test pans and test cases
  • Design, develop, and automate tests
  • Identify and document bugs in a clear and concise manner
  • Perform regression testing
  • Work together with internal teams in all necessary tasks
  • Track quality assurance metrics

What You’ll Need:

  • Midweight experience working as a QA Engineer.
  • Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
  • Experience with Cypress and Postman.
  • Experience with performance and/or security testing is valued.
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Good written and verbal English communication skills.

We'll be Lucky if you:

  • Ability to work well in a team environment and manage multiple tasks.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Quality Management, Engineering, or related technical field).

#LI-CR1

We care deeply about the warm, inclusive environment we’ve created and we value diversity – we welcome applications from those typically underrepresented in tech. If you like the sound of this role but are not totally sure whether you’re the right person, do apply anyway!
