Job description

Microsoft Security Consultant, Powershell, ASR, WDAC, Access Packages

Our client has identified that users are experiencing difficulties accessing specific system utilities from their devices. Consequently, they aim to enhance security, limit access, and exert greater control over these system utilities. This initiative will involve the secure management of particular applications and an overall enhancement of security measures.

The Role:

The client has now completed a discovery and comprehensive review of the current system utilities in place; documenting the findings and producing a design of the proposed changes. They are now in a position where they would like to implement/deploy these changes, with the Key actions including the implementation of restrictions in PowerShell, the establishment of rules within Attack Surface Reduction (ASR), the formulation of policies in Windows Defender Application Control (WDAC), and the configuration of new access packages.

The Person:

We are seeking an experienced Microsoft Security Consultant, with specific emphasis on having skills in PowerShell, Attack Surface Reduction (ASR), Windows Defender Application Control (WDAC) to help support the customer to implement these policies following a thorough discovery and design phase which has been completed. You will also need to be experienced in creating Access packages to control and govern access for employees.
