The role
As a Communications Business Partner, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. You’ll support aims of the business through impactful, collaborative and outcome-based communications. 

 

Day-to-day, you’ll effectively deliver multi-site communications to internal and external stakeholders across Babcock’s Marine Sector business.

 

  • A Personal Contract role within their specific chosen site Terms and Conditions
  • Liaising with and influencing key internal and external stakeholders
  • Working alongside wider communications team
  • Role sits within the Global communications function
  • Working with key clients domestically and internationally


This role is full time, 37.5 hours per week and provides hybrid working arrangements with days in the office/onsite and days working from home.

 

Essential experience of the Communications Business Partner:

  • Substantial experience working in a senior role within a corporate communication environment
  • Experience in engaging with a wide range of stakeholders and establishing both internal and external relationships
  • Be able to demonstrate the capability to produce and distribute high quality communications materials to a wide audience using a variety of mediums
  • Be able to multi-task effectively to meet deadlines
  • Have excellent written, IT and interpersonal skills, be confident, creative, independent, patient, and flexible with some people management experience

 

Qualifications for the Communications Business Partner:

  • Degree, HND, HNC (or Diploma) in a Marketing Communications, Public Relations, Journalism/Creative Writing or a related subject and extensive experience working in a corporate or Agency environment

The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC)  security clearance for this role.
