Consumer Marketing Manager OneBlade

Job Description

In this role, you can contribute to fundamentally improving people's health and well-being through meaningful innovation whilst advancing your career in a global environment. You will enter the fast-paced, multinational environment of the Business Group Grooming & Beauty at Philips Headquarters in Amsterdam. OneBlade is a highly successful business in the Grooming & Beauty Business group driving the biggest part of the growth for the group. To expand OneBlade we introduced the SLE (Low end) version to drive growth in emerging markets and enter wet isle with customers we have not unlocked today. The SLE (Low End) portfolio is expected to drive half of the volume growth of our handles business in the coming years and hence very critical to deliver the future for OneBlade. Additionally, we want to develop and accessories business (not replacement blades) such as travel case, charging stand and other unique to OneBlade accessories to enhance the usage experience of millions of OneBlade users globally.

Responsibilities:

  • Lives and breathes category consumer, shopper insights delivering winning proposition, portfolio and marketing toolkits.
  • Translate in-depth market, consumer, and shopper insights, as well as competitive analyses, into winning concepts by defining product positioning.
  • Identify and optimize winning concepts, integrate them into strategic product roadmaps, and develop and bring the concept from idea to market.
  • Responsible for developing winning and future fit innovation roadmap rooted in deep, validated consumer, shopper and customer insights and in close collaboration with Category CMD, Innovation and RBUL.
  • Guide and drive the development of new products from the initial phase until the final product, to get the optimal combination of performance and price in time for the defined market segment.
  • Responsible for E2E success of NPI as per VPC and PDLM process including concept feasibility testing, market development, launch readiness, execution and market adoption in close partnership with Innovation Leader and RBUL.
  • Responsible for lifecycle management and market readiness as part of PDLM.
  • Ensure completion of appropriate deliverables (feature descriptions, value propositions, costing/pricing/quoting materials, etc.)
  • Drive the market introduction of new products and maximize the performance of existing products through commercial innovation.

Requirements:

  • - Highly entrepreneurial; both analytical and hands-on to driving business growth (result oriented)
  • - A completed master’s degree in business administration, marketing or related fields with an excellent academic track record
  • - Minimum 3-5 years of experience in an international business environment in the field of consumer marketing or product management (experience with personal care FMCG or FMCD products is a plus)
  • - Experience of working in the region with hands-on experience of how a product is launched in the market. With a very strong understanding of the commercial and activation elements that are required to driving growth for a product.
  • - Experience with translating market research and shopper insights into product concepts and new propositions.
  • - Proven track record with global consumer/retail brands with a demonstrated ability to work with multiple and diverse markets or stake holders.
  • - Ability to take calculated risk, think creatively whilst being firm enough to make, and act upon, clear decisions.
  • - Excellent communication skills, ability to work with people of different seniority and backgrounds, informing, influencing, convincing, presenting, project management
  • - Business fluency in English (written & verbal)
