Job description

Description

The company is a global technology services company with a rapidly expanding footprint in EMEA. As an GCP Premier Tier services partner with over 700 in-house engineers, we are looking to continue growing in EMEA by adding a lead Cloud Account Executive to help our GCP customers continue to innovate with confidence.

We are looking for an exceptional Pre-Sales SA who loves building solutions on GCP services with a broad array of real-world expertise, but focus areas like DevOps, Infrastructure Management, Data Services, and migration planning are key to success in this role.

As a GCP Pre-Sales Solutions Architect at Commit, you will play a crucial role in designing and implementing scalable, secure, and cost-effective solutions for our clients' cloud-based infrastructure using GCP services. You are expected to recognize the technical challenges faced by businesses and design and explain well-architected solutions using terminologies that executives can understand and value. You will work closely with prospects, clients, internal teams, and GCP resources to architect and deliver solutions that meet the clients' business objectives and requirements.

Responsibilities:

  1. Client Engagement: Engage with prospects and clients in pre-sales and post-sales activities, including requirements gathering, solution presentations, and technical discussions. Build strong relationships with clients, understanding their business challenges, and providing appropriate solutions to meet their needs.
  2. Solution Design: Collaborate with prospects and clients to understand their business needs, technical requirements, and existing infrastructure. Based on these, design and architect GCP-based solutions that align with industry best practices, security standards, scalability, and cost optimization.
  3. Technical Expertise: Demonstrate expertise in GCP services, architectures, and solutions. Keep up-to-date with the latest GCP technologies, trends, and best practices. Provide technical guidance and recommendations to clients and internal teams on leveraging GCP services effectively.
  4. Solution Delivery: Technically lead or support engagements for the implementation of GCP solutions, collaborating with cross-functional teams as needed. Ensure successful deployment of solutions, troubleshoot issues, and provide guidance on ongoing management and optimization.
  5. Security and Compliance: Design and implement solutions that adhere to industry-standard security practices and compliance requirements. Assess and mitigate potential security risks, recommending and implementing appropriate security measures to protect clients' data and systems.
  6. Documentation and Proposals: Create and maintain technical documentation, including solution architecture diagrams, infra-design and language at the proposal/SoW level. It’s critical to understand GCP expected deliverables and help create technical outputs that support this framework.
