* Deep understanding of protocols and technologies foundational to the web.

* Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose issues across every layer of the stack.

* Conceptual thinking to understand advanced issues and implications.

* Deep understanding of software development methodologies and systems design.

* Experience in software development and large-scale SaaS operations.

* Experience working in a Linux and Windows environment.

* Experience using, operating, and developing on top of cloud services (we use Azure primarily).

* Fluency in at least one high-level programming language (Python, Go, etc.), and one scripting language (Bash, PowerShell, etc.).

* Ownership of solution design lifecycle (analysis, architecture, development, hosting, etc.).

* Experience with test-driven development, continuous integration (CI) and delivery (CD), paired programming, and git source control.

* Proven problem-solving skills and experience working collaboratively in a team environment.

* Highly responsible, self-motivated, and able to thrive in an energetic, fast paced, high growth environment. Exhibits ownership of projects and tasks assigned.

* Effective communication skills to interact effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
