PIC (Pig Improvement Company), a Genus company has an exciting opportunity! We are looking for a highly motivated Bilingual Human Resources Business Partner (English/Spanish) to join our team. This position is responsible for partnering with, and providing HR services and related support to assigned business areas. The HRBP will develop an understanding of the assigned business areas, represent those areas' interests within the human resources group, and collaborate with the HR Centers of Excellence (COEs). The successful candidate has the ability to thrive in a diverse cultural fast-paced environment, with strong attention to detail, able to establish priorities and meet deadlines. You are someone who maintains professionalism, confidentiality, takes ownership, and collaborates broadly.
This is a remote position with the preferred location being in the upper Mid-west.
Responsabilidades y deberes esenciales :
- Establish and maintain effective and credible relationships with on-farm production leaders and employees; work closely with leaders to provide support, planning, and problem-solving.
- Coach managers on employee relations issues to ensure candid timely feedback, proper documentation and action plans are in place to resolve matters. Escalate employee issues to the Human Resource Leader as needed.
- Conduct on-farm visits, meet with employees, conduct, or assist with new employee orientation and training, and be in and around porcine livestock. Become knowledgeable and abide by all biosecurity protocols.
- Partner with leaders/managers/supervisors to drive positive employee engagement through supporting action planning, communication, and talent development.
- Conduct candidate sourcing directly hosting and attending career fairs, source via social media and other internal and external tools (i.e.: LinkedIn, Employee Referral Program, Facebook, Job Boards, Internal ATS system)
- Review resumes, applications and profiles against job requirements and create a shortlist for interview or review by a hiring leader, meeting all Service Level Agreement targets.
- Conduct initial phone screen / e-screens and schedule interviews with hiring manager.
- Learn to conduct and facilitate pre and post interview meetings with hiring team, guiding them to select “right-fit” candidates.
- Provide a positive candidate and hiring manager experience throughout the selection process.
- Provide HRBP support on core HR processes which may include a focus on policy and process development and administration, employee relations, talent development, strategy execution, performance management, and collaborate with the COEs in Rewards, Benefits, Talent Acquisition, and L&D
- Manage workforce planning to align business staffing initiatives and partner with Talent Acquisition to formulate and implement innovative recruitment strategies and plans to recruit a diverse workforce.
- Maintain timely and accurate data in HRIS and provide routine analytics through PowerBI Reporting.
- Collaborate with Learning & Development to facilitate internal L&D offerings in Spanish and English, identify and assess the training needs for the business unit and employees through job analysis, career paths, and consultation with managers.
- Assist in the development of individualized training plans (IDPs) or programs for employee(s) with managers as well as broader training programs that address specific business needs. Follow-up to ensure training objectives are met and embedded in the business.
- Support the Health & Safety Program, working closely with the Health and Safety team to drive Health & Safety improvements for all employees.
- Act as liaison between HR Shared Services and COEs to answer employee questions and escalate to the appropriate specialist as needed.
- Assist in special HR projects as needed
Requisitos:
Basic Qualifications: (required)
- Bilingual (written and spoken) in Spanish and English
- Bachelor’s Degree in HR Management, Psychology, or related field
- Minimum of 3 plus years of human resources experience to include talent acquisition / recruiting for high volume positions.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite to include D365, PowerBI
- Required domestic travel is approximately 25%, may increase/decrease depending on your location.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in an HR Center of Excellence Model and matrix organization is a plus.
- Demonstrated group presentation and training skills.
