We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Financial Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting financial operations, reporting, and strategic initiatives. This position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to a dynamic finance team and grow within a collaborative environment.

 

What You’ll Do


  • Support month-end, account reconciliations, and sub-ledger reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness of financials.
  • Support the administration, maintenance, and oversight of core financial management systems.
  • Conduct reporting, planning, and analysis, including monthly reporting packages, variance analysis, quarterly reporting, and preparing insightful commentary to support management decision-making.
  • Assist with new acquisition projects and accounting integrations, ensuring smooth transitions and accurate financial reporting.
  • Continuously identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency in financial reporting, models, and tools.
  • Report on business metrics, including maintaining and updating KPI dashboards.
  • Enhance financial performance by analyzing results, monitoring variances, identifying trends, and recommending improvements.
  • Support the annual year-end audit by providing accurate records and documentation.
  • Take on ad hoc and special projects as needed.

 

What You'll Bring

 

  • CPA designation completed.
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field required
  • Minimum of 4+ years of related work experience, preferably with exposure to public accounting.
  • Strong analytical skills with keen attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present complex information clearly.
  • Demonstrates initiative, creativity, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Proficiency in financial management systems; knowledge of Sage Intacct is an asset.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment, adapt to evolving processes, and meet deadlines under pressure.
