Come join us as Consumer Marketing Director Hair Removal Portfolio. You will enter the fast-paced, multinational environment of Philips Personal Health in the global Headquarters in Amsterdam.

Your role:

As Consumer Marketing Director you will be responsible for the fastest growing consumer segment designing innovation strategy and leading business portfolio. You will help to deliver innovation and winning portfolio, including range build up, communication, activation, promo strategy and claim roadmap. You will translate in-depth market-, consumer-, shopper insights, as well as competitive analyses into winning concepts by defining product positioning. You will identify and optimize the winning concepts, to integrate them into strategic product roadmaps, and develop and bring the concept from idea to market.

  • Business portfolio strategy & results owning innovation excellence and value creation.
  • Winning, fit for future Innovation roadmap, proposition, NBM and total consumer experience incl success of new product introductions (NPI).
  • Value proposition, mid-life update development based on customer insights, including Business cases. Lead the related product development (PDLM) process from start to end, taking initial ideas through to product development and market introduction.
  • Portfolio strategy & health for Business Category
  • Marketing Strategy, category positioning & integrated comms toolkits, claim roadmap
  • Category pricing strategy, price exemptions. Category G2M guidelines.
  • Drive development of new business model propositions and go to market
  • Interact with various disciplines including Innovation, Technology & Development departments (Singapore), internal and external Design agencies, manufacturing units or external suppliers, marketing management, marketing communication and international sales organizations
  • Help to extend the lifecycle of existing products by contributing with your marketing views and passion for the consumer
  • Interact on a regular basis with our marketing teams in key markets and ensure a successful product launch that fits with the local market needs


You're the right fit if:

  • >10 years of upstream and downstream marketing experience in global branded FMCG or durable consumer goods including new product introductions and life cycle management in a global or regional context. You have gained your experience from a similar global position driving marketing and innovation plans across markets.
  • Experience with NPDs new product development and new product introductions, preferably experience in Male Grooming domain.
  • Experience working with and designing products for Asian consumers.
  • Experience of consumer market research and market intelligence
  • Understanding of retail market dynamics, having dealt with product promotions, trade marketing, shopper marketing activations, product launches and/or marketing communications to drive business results and growth.
  • Knowledge and ability to apply value based pricing to optimize and manage a portfolio of products
  • Demonstrated that you can think conceptually from a broad business perspective taking both strategic as well as operational aspects into consideration. You can steer and guide our local country organizations in executing business plans.
  • Excellent analytic and communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders both externally and internally.
  • International mindset and the ability to talk efficiently to different people in different countries.
  • Fluent English
