The Benefits Specialist, Communications & Wellbeing, is responsible for the overall communication and education of associate benefit plans and wellbeing initiatives while supporting the development and administration of the company-wide wellbeing program. The Benefits Specialist, Communications & Wellbeing develops and administers associate education methods that support the company’s culture and educates, informs, and drives positive engagement and consumer behavior.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Design, plan, edit and write content for a variety of internal communications mediums.
  • Develop comprehensive communication plans for employee benefits programs. Includes life & health insurance, retirement plans, wellness programs, and more.
  • Lead multiple projects simultaneously. Ensure timely delivery of communication solutions while coordinating with internal teams and external vendors.
  • Use feedback, surveys, and data analytics to assess employee engagement and adjust communication strategies for maximum effectiveness.
  • Ensure all communication materials comply with legal and regulatory standards for employee benefits.
  • Collaborate well with cross-functional team members to perform writing, recorded webinars and proofreading services.
  • Develop collaterals to educate and promote client benefit packages to their employees.
  • Create compelling benefit collaterals and presentations that will capture the attention of the target audience.
  • Deliver collaterals on time and partner effectively with internal colleagues to gain approval or feedback.
  • Balance multiple projects with differing and aggressive timelines, deliverables, and expectations.
  • Suggest new ways to reach target audiences.
  • Maintain printing and shipping vendor relationship Completes special projects as assigned.


Experience We Love:

  • Bachelors Degree or Equivalent Experience in Human Resources
  • 3-5 years of previous experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to work across all levels and locations within the organization
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills to plan, prioritize, multi-task, and independently execute projects/tasks within specific deadlines while maintaining flexibility
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Proficient with Outlook, Adobe, PowerPoint, Microsoft Word, Zoom/Teams and Sharepoint, or other similar platform experience.
  • Analytical and research skills, as demonstrated by the ability to collect, develop, assess, and blend information from a wide variety of sources.
  • Familiarity with benefit or wellbeing platforms. Workday, Sharecare, Anthem, Fidelity a plus.
  • Knowledge of employee benefits and applicable laws.
