Who are we hiring?

The Marketing Strategy Coordinator will assist with the implementation of strategic marketing and promotional campaigns to increase ticket sales and fan engagement for concerts and live events across our venues, including Madison Square Garden, The Theater at MSG, Radio City Music Hall, Beacon Theatre & The Chicago Theatre. This individual will serve as liaison between internal departments and external agencies, promoters, and partners, providing tactical marketing support from the time of the announcement/on-sale to the day of the show.

What will you do?

  • Coordinate with various cross-functional departments (e.g., bookings, ticketing, creative, media, email, web, and social) to facilitate the day-to-day execution of marketing campaigns, focusing on asset development, submitting briefs, obtaining approvals, and managing deadlines.
  • Oversee the production and deployment of marketing deliverables, including localized creative assets and copy, ensuring quality and consistency across campaign delivery.
  • Research target audiences and market trends to identify new and innovative promotional opportunities.
  • Build marketing recaps and decks for promoters, partners, and internal needs.
  • Regularly maintain planning and performance tracking documents to ensure goals/KPIs are being met.
  • Support the reconciliation of marketing budget; process invoices and work closely with the Accounts Payable team.
  • Work on special projects as assigned.

 

What do you need to succeed?

  • Bachelor’s degree (marketing, communications, related field) or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years of entertainment or event marketing experience with a strong passion for live music and pop culture
  • Previous experience working at a music label, talent agency or management firm.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs including Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Ability to work with cross functional teams.
  • Ability to adapt to shifting priorities and open to learning new ways of working.
  • Ability to embrace change with a flexible mindset, even if the way forward isn’t clear.
  • Ability to work both independently to trouble shoot and problem solve.
  • Ability to be a reliable team member, capable of effective collaboration to achieve our shared goals across teams and departments.
  • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization, tailoring the message based on the purpose, audience and channel.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with all customers (internal and external).

 

Special Requirements

  • Must be willing to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed for event coverage.

Pay Range
$45,000$64,000 USD
