About the Role

We’re looking for a Podcast Producer who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about creating seamless, world-class podcasts. As a contractor working remotely from home, you will play a key role in researching, recording, editing, and posting video and audio podcasts. You will work closely with the content team to ensure podcasts are engaging, polished, and delivered on schedule. This role requires a combination of technical expertise, creativity, and a passion for storytelling.

Key Responsibilities & Success Metrics

  • Editing: Edit audio and video for clarity and engagement, removing mistakes and background noise. Improve sound quality, add music, sound effects, and graphics for video podcasts. You’ll also have support from the marketing team to help with promotional materials and ensure the final product fits the brand.
  • Post-production: Finalize episodes for publishing by adding necessary metadata, formatting, and creating show notes. Prepare content for distribution across various platforms (e.g., YouTube, Spotify, Apple Podcasts).
  • Publishing: Upload, schedule, and manage podcast releases on relevant platforms, ensuring they are released according to the content calendar.
  • Promotion: Assist with creating promotional material, including social media clips, trailers, and episode teasers to engage and grow the podcast audience.
  • Guest Management: Communicate with podcast guests, schedule recording sessions, and provide necessary information or guidance for a smooth experience.
  • Analytics & Reporting: Track and analyze podcast performance (listens, views, engagement) and provide insights to improve future episodes.
Experience and Qualifications
  • Required
    • Proficiency in English (C1 or C2): You should be comfortable communicating fluently in English while working with a global team and diverse guests.
    • 2+ years of podcast production experience, including research, recording, editing, and post-production.
    • Proficiency with audio editing software (e.g., Adobe Audition, Audacity, Final Cut Pro, or similar).
    • Familiarity with podcast hosting platforms (e.g., Anchor, Libsyn, Buzzsprout) and how to effectively distribute content.
    • Strong writing skills with the ability to craft engaging narratives for audio formats.
    • Ability to work independently and manage multiple episodes and deadlines.
    • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with an ability to interpret complex ideas clearly.
