Overview: xScion Solutions is seeking an experienced consultant to play a critical role in a project focused on modernizing a large-scale financial transaction network. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to a significant initiative with the potential to transform how entities within this network manage their financial operations.

Project Overview:
This project aims to analyze an established financial network, identify opportunities for modernization and streamlining, and assess the feasibility of various options, including potentially reducing or eliminating the network's physical footprint.
As a Financial Network Modernization Consultant, You Will:
- Stakeholder Engagement:
- Conduct workgroup sessions, interviews, and surveys with diverse stakeholder groups across the network to gather information and insights on current processes, pain points, and potential areas for improvement.
- Document Review and Research:
- Thoroughly review existing documentation related to previous modernization efforts and recommendations within the network.
- Conduct comprehensive market research on relevant industry best practices and emerging technologies that could enhance the network's efficiency.
- Data Analysis and Assessment:
- Determine the level of support required by different participant types within the network to streamline operations and reduce reliance on physical infrastructure.
- Quantify the number of physical access points currently supporting transactions within the network.
- Identify current transaction methods utilized by network participants and evaluate potential alternatives.
- Analyze the potential impact on network participants if the physical network were to be significantly reduced or eliminated entirely.
- Journey Mapping:
- Develop detailed journey maps that illustrate the current and future state of the network from the perspectives of various user groups.
- Visualize the user experience in scenarios with a reduced physical footprint and complete digitization of the network.
- Feasibility Study and Recommendations:
- Conduct a comprehensive feasibility analysis of proposed modernization options, including a detailed assessment of risks, benefits, and potential challenges.
- Estimate potential cost savings and expenses associated with each option.
- Develop actionable recommendations for optimizing the network, with a focus on streamlining processes, reducing costs, and enhancing efficiency.
- Reporting:
- Deliver a comprehensive feasibility study report outlining findings, analysis, and recommendations by September 30, 2025.
To be successful, You Need:
- Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, economics, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in management consulting, financial analysis, or a related field, with a proven track record in project management and successful delivery of consulting engagements.
- Experience working with financial institutions or within a relevant industry sector is highly desirable.
- Skills and Knowledge:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to gather, analyze, and interpret complex data.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with diverse stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficiency in conducting interviews, facilitating workshops, and developing surveys.
- Experience with journey mapping and process improvement methodologies.
- Knowledge of financial transaction networks and related technologies is a plus.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong work ethic and commitment to delivering high-quality results.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
