Your Role

As an Intern Coach, you will:

  • Provide personalized support and guidance to enhance interns’ experiences and career development through one-on-one conversations.
  • Apply best coaching practices tailored for remote internship settings.
  • Work with a diverse range of students from various career backgrounds and cultures, ensuring effective and equitable support.
  • Help interns translate their internship experiences into their future career paths by contributing to skills development, goal setting, and achievement.

This is a part-time flexible position where we expect you to cover at least 15 hours per week and take calls within afternoon and evening UK time. You will be joining a team of five coaches based in various regions around the world.

Our interns come from around the world, with our alumni representing over 150 universities across the US, UK, EU, MENA, and APAC regions. Our audience includes university students and recent graduates experiencing their first job, as well as individuals seeking a career shift.

Your Impact

You will contribute to increasing post-program employment confidence and success. Through the coaching calls you will give participants the opportunity to step above their day-to-day internship experience and conduct guided conversations that enhance their goal setting and career management skills.

Who We're Looking For
Your Attributes
  • Fluent English language skills (you don’t need an IELTS, but if you did it would be 7.0+).
  • Interest and knowledgeable in experiential learning, professional development, employability, or higher education.
  • Knowledge of best professional practices, work trends and industries, and job search process (i.e., how to write a CV and motivation letter, how to conduct a job interview, how to behave professionally in the workplace, etc)
  • You are an active listener, strong communicator, empathetic, and emotionally intelligent.
  • You are a proactive problem solver, flexible and open to learning new things and ways of doing.
  • You have strong cultural awareness, understanding and respecting the diverse backgrounds and perspectives of students from all over the world.
  • You are comfortable using Gsuites (docs, spreadsheets and calendar). Willing to learn to use our CRM and platform.
  • Ideally, you have a Coaching Certification.
  • Always student focussed.
    Your Experience
    • Proven experience mentoring or coaching students, preferably in a remote or virtual environment.
    • Demonstrated ability to support individuals in career development and employability.
    • Experience working with diverse populations and understanding their unique challenges and opportunities.
