Job description

Overview:

Hexagon's Autonomous Solutions division is looking for a PMO Manager for the Finance & Corporate Services team to lead the development and execution of transformation programs across the finance and corporate services functions. This role will drive strategic initiatives, establish project governance, and oversee a portfolio of projects that aim to enhance efficiency, stakeholder experience, and organizational alignment. The PMO Manager will serve as a key facilitator of change, promoting transparent communication, setting clear goals, and fostering cross-functional collaboration to ensure projects meet their milestones and deliver measurable outcomes.

 

Location: Hexagon is a global company with offices around the world. This remote position can be based in the United States, Canada, or Europe.

Responsibilities:

As the PMO Manager for Finance & Corporate Services, responsibilities include:

 

Program Development and Transformation

  • Build and oversee substantial programs by defining an end-state vision for each corporate services function and mapping it into achievable, measurable milestones.
  • Lead the introduction of Hoshin Kanri (policy deployment) goal-setting techniques across finance and corporate services, aligning objectives with divisional strategy.
  • Cadence & Calendar Oversight; Establish and manage a structured cadence and calendar for Finance & Corporate Services, coordinating key meetings, reviews, and reporting cycles to drive accountability, alignment, and timely progress across initiatives.
  • Manage a diverse project portfolio, driving the successful execution of each initiative in alignment with business priorities.
  • Monitor program progress, evaluate success metrics, and adjust plans to ensure that each transformation project meets its strategic goals.

Project Governance and Risk Management

  • Establish a robust project governance framework to standardize processes, ensure accountability, and drive consistent project outcomes across Finance & Corporate Services.
  • Implement tools and methodologies to monitor project progress, manage risks, and ensure alignment with divisional objectives.
  • Conduct regular portfolio reviews to assess risks, mitigate issues, and adjust resources as needed for optimal project performance.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Foster cross-functional collaboration, aligning teams within Finance, HR, IT, and other corporate functions to achieve project milestones and enhance overall operational efficiency.
  • Facilitate regular project update meetings and maintain open lines of communication with all project stakeholders, ensuring timely issue resolution and milestone tracking.
  • Act as a bridge between project teams and leadership, providing clarity, transparency, and alignment across all initiatives within the portfolio.

Internal Communications

  • Document & Collaboration Management: Lead the implementation and optimization of document management and collaboration tools across Finance & Corporate Services to streamline information sharing, ensure compliance, and foster alignment; provide training and best practices to maximize team efficiency.
  • Develop and implement internal communication strategies that ensure consistent and effective messaging related to finance and corporate services projects.
  • Promote transparency within the division, fostering alignment by keeping all teams informed of project goals, progress, and any changes in direction.
  • Create and distribute clear, concise project reports, updates, and communications that enhance understanding and drive engagement across teams.

Change Management

  • Lead change initiatives across finance and corporate services, developing a roadmap for each transformation project to facilitate smooth transitions.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement and actively engage stakeholders to promote organizational transformation.
  • Leverage change management techniques to help teams adapt to new processes, structures, or technologies, minimizing disruption and ensuring successful adoption.

Stakeholder Experinece & Alignment

  • Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, prioritizing their needs to enhance their experience throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Facilitate alignment between corporate services and stakeholder expectations by ensuring project outcomes meet or exceed expectations.

 

Qualifications:

Must-Have

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Project Management, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in a PMO or project management role, ideally within finance or corporate services.
  • Proven track record of successfully leading cross-functional, transformation-focused projects.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies, including familiarity with Hoshin Kanri or other goal-setting frameworks.
  • Strong background in finance and corporate services functions, with an understanding of their unique project needs.
  • Experience establishing governance frameworks and managing project portfolios in a dynamic, matrixed organization.

Compensation & Benefits 

Hexagon’s Autonomous Solutions division provides the following compensation range and a general description of other compensation and benefits.  This compensation range is based on a full-time schedule. The Company reserves the right to pay more or less than the posted range or offer other compensation depending on circumstances not related to an applicant’s sex or other status protected by local, state or federal law. Our benefits and bonus plans are reviewed annually and are subject to change at the company’s discretion.  

 

Hiring Salary Range: $91,000 - $146,800 USD per annum

 

Bonus Eligibility: We offer a company profit share and individual incentive-based bonus programs.
