About the Role:

As the Site Merchandising Manager for the Perpay Marketplace, you will play a critical role in shaping and executing our online merchandising strategy. You will be the cornerstone in driving both short-term and long-term plans that achieve key business and financial goals through impactful campaigns and events. Beyond simply executing, you will bring a strong analytical mindset and a deep sense of curiosity, constantly seeking data-driven insights that will guide decisions and fuel innovation. This combination of analytical rigor and curiosity will empower you to push boundaries and optimize strategies effectively.

As our standard keeper, you will ensure that high standards for content quality and consistency are not only established but also maintained across every touchpoint. You’ll be responsible for transforming assortment, customer acquisition, and customer development strategies into compelling on-site experiences that truly resonate with our customers. This includes creating a detailed merchandising calendar, setting and upholding content standards, prioritizing SKU builds, collaborating with product teams on site enhancements, partnering with marketing to achieve customer-related goals, and leading efforts to test and implement new functionality with precision. Your role is vital in ensuring that we build good habits while constantly striving for excellence in everything we do.

Responsibilities:
  • Oversee all onsite merchandising planning, execution and analysis
  • Develop and maintain a cohesive merchandising calendar that aligns with category management, marketing and assortment strategies
  • Manage and optimize on-site search functionality by analyzing search performance, refining keywords, creating redirects, implementing strategic search result rules, and leveraging analytics tools to improve product discovery and conversion rates
  • Establish content standards and processes for daily execution and prioritization of SKU builds
  • Provide recommendations and prioritize site enhancements in collaboration with product teams
  • Coordinate marketplace support for testing and implementing site functionality enhancements
What You’ll Bring:
  • 3+ years of experience in site merchandising, e-commerce, or a related field
  • Multiple years of experience managing direct reports
  • Up to date on ecommerce industry, tools, and best practices
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
  • Proficiency in merchandising tools and platforms
  • Prior experience with Algolia and Magento desired but not required
