Job description

The UAT Delivery Specialist is essential to the User Acceptance Testing (UAT) process for key product features. This role demands strong product knowledge, hands-on testing skills, and the ability to collaborate across teams to ensure smooth testing and feature delivery. Responsibilities include configuring systems, monitoring testing processes, and integrating user and stakeholder feedback into the product development lifecycle.

This role involves close collaboration with internal teams to ensure timely testing, resolve issues, and uphold the quality of product releases. At times, you may also work directly with end users, such as Customers, Sales Representatives, and Installers, to gather valuable feedback and insights. Additionally, you will engage with external partners, gathering feedback and providing updates to maintain alignment and transparency.

Work Hours: 3pm-12am GMT-3 Thursday-Monday

Requirements

  • Monitor and conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for product features to ensure they meet business and functional requirements.
  • Assist with system mapping, configuration, and testing processes, identifying issues that could impact product functionality or user experience.
  • Collaborate with the product and development teams to create detailed test plans, manage testing environments, and ensure smooth UAT execution.
  • Provide guidance and support to key stakeholders, including sales teams and regional managers, to ensure that UAT aligns with their needs.
  • Maintain detailed UAT documentation, including test cases, defect reports, and feedback logs, ensuring continuous improvement of UAT processes.
  • Assist in training internal team members on product updates and testing procedures to enhance their product knowledge and problem-solving abilities.
  • Provide ongoing support post-launch to address configuration changes, such as pricing updates, and assist in resolving issues that require manual intervention.
  • Ensure scalable support as the project grows, expanding testing capabilities and availability to accommodate different operational hours and team needs.
  • Work with the development team to cycle UAT feedback into the product lifecycle, ensuring enhancements and bug fixes are implemented efficiently.

Required Qualifications:


Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business, or related field.

2+ years of experience in User Acceptance Testing, Quality Assurance, or a related product delivery role.

Hands-on experience with system configuration and managing UAT cycles from planning to execution.

Proficiency with testing tools and bug tracking systems (e.g., Jira, TestRail).

Strong communication skills to work with cross-functional teams and articulate testing outcomes to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in system mapping, product configuration, or hands-on product management.

Experience working in distributed teams, with the flexibility to accommodate remote work requirements.

Being bilingual in English and Spanish is highly desirable.
