The Opportunity 

The Operational Excellence Analyst is a supporting role within Agency Business Services (ABS) that will be a resource for all data, administrative, and operational excellence initiatives. The role will serve as an administrator of service team workflows, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and carrier automation management. Administration will include maintenance of documentation, adoption/utilization analytics, download management, and reporting to managers and stakeholders as directed. As an integral member of the Operational Excellence group, the Service OpEx Analyst will aid in driving efficiencies and consistencies in delivering service standards in “the Hylant Way”.
 
 
In This Role You Will Execute On: 
  • Support and administer reviewing / auditing for adoption and utilization of current workflows and Standard Operating Procedures. This could include managing reports, monitoring dashboards and assisting in engagement with Data Solutions team (and others) to develop measurement tactics
  • Support and assist with administration of “desk audits” to spot check as directed
  • Assist with review / updates of workflows and/or SOPs to maintain accurate, up-to-date documentation for ‘end user’ use and Leadership / Stakeholder discussions, as directed by Op-Ex team members
  • Assist in monitoring and redefining, as needed, the metrics and indicators by which workflow & standards compliance will be measured
  • Maintain the cadence and process by which workflow & standards compliance will be assessed
  • Administer and support necessary work for scorecards, audit logs, and results reporting
  • Support review of Help Desk Incidents to aggregate and report on trends / needs in relation to workflow or standards training or education
  • Support review of Help Desk Incidents (and other sources) to aggregate and manage list of optimization opportunities / priorities
  • Actively engage as a member of ABS team to stay in alignment with organizational goals, ensuring both optimization and feasibility
  • Aid the Data Solutions group in maintaining a high level of integrity by effectively processing and overseeing the transfer of data and documentation through carrier interface.
  • Act as a dedicated ABS support person to multiple business units leveraging carrier automation
  • Assist with ABS support ticket triage and resolution, as it pertains to Hylant workflows & standards and best practices, as necessary and appropriate
In This Role You'll Need:  
  • Bachelor’s degree, a minimum of 1-3 years work experience, or adequate combination of both. 
  • Knowledge of insurance operations and industry standards is helpful
  • Experience using Applied Epic and suite of applications for P&C and EB insurance operations preferred
  • High proficiency with Microsoft Products, especially Excel
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent planning, organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent analytical and interpersonal skills
  • Flexibility and creativity for developing business solutions
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within the department, as well as cross-functionally within the organization
