We’re searching for a self-motivated and highly skilled Knowledge Management Specialist Level 1 to join our team and help take our client-focused content and education to the next level. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of writing for a knowledge management environment at a high-growth SaaS company, is highly-collaborative, and has a natural desire to help customers. In this role, you will create content, update, and manage high-quality learning content inside our knowledge management environment. Your success is defined by our customers’ success in using our products and features. Essential Job DutiesCreate and update content in the Knowledge Base with Madcap Flare according to technical writing standards.Create content that communicates complex information clearly and concisely.Bridge the gap between subject matter experts and end-users.Ensure that technical concepts and instructions are easily understood, user-friendly, and accessible.Assist in building the structure of Knowledge Bases for client ease of use.Create documents when Knowledge Base delivery is not effective for the target audience.Communicate to Instructional Designers about changes to video or interactive course content based on information from TCC or upcoming platform changes.Communicate to the entire Client Experience team about new or updated Knowledge Base content.Assist in creating video content when the complexity or importance of the topic calls for it.Other Job DutiesOther duties as assigned by supervisor or HHAeXchange leaderTravel RequirementsTravel up to 10%, including overnight travelRequired Education, Experience, Certifications and SkillsBachelor's degree in a related field (required).Technical Writing, Madcap Flare, or Video Editing Certification (preferred).1-2 years of experience as a writer for a knowledge management environment.1-2 years of experience managing the infrastructure of a knowledge management environment.Exceptional writing and editing skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts in a clear and concise manner with experience using plain language. Proficiency with authoring tools, content management systems, and AI tools.Excellent project management skills, with the capacity to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Highly-collaborative, naturally curious, and exceptional communication skills. Expertise with Microsoft Word (and other Office 365 Tools) Experience editing HTML/CSS, a plus.Experience with agile software project management software, Aha and Jira preferred.Experience with Monday.com.Experience with MadCap software a plus.Experience with video editing in Camtasia a plus.Experience in the Homecare industry a plus.
The base salary range for this US-based, full-time, and exempt position is $70,000 - $80,000 not including variable compensation. An employee’s exact starting salary will be based on various factors including but not limited to experience, education, training, merit, location, and the ability to exemplify the HHAeXchange core values.
