Job description

At Movement Labs, we are leading the way in blockchain technology with an open modular framework for building and deploying Move-based infrastructure, applications, and blockchains in any distributed environment.

We're looking for software engineers with a thorough understanding of the entire blockchain technology stack, from networking and systems to cryptography and consensus protocols.

You Will:

Design and implement Movement's Move-based blockchain technologies.
Develop developer tools and SDKs, fostering interaction with our internal and external developer community.
Collaborate with the larger community to evolve the design and implementation of MoveVM and Move language.
Write technical specifications, create proposals, and conduct code reviews.

You Have:

Experience in building and supporting production services on a large scale.
Proficiency with at least one low-level programming language such as Rust, Go, or C/C++, and familiarity with JavaScript/TypeScript.
Understanding of cryptography, distributed systems, consensus, blockchain, and cryptoeconomics fundamentals.
A growth mindset with a strong drive to continuously learn, improve, and challenge yourself.

You May Have:

Passion for blockchain, Web3, and similar decentralized technologies.
Understanding of blockchain technology and its underlying infrastructure, preferably with Move, Avalanche, or Ethereum.
