About Our Client

Our client is a Swiss family-owned company renowned for its flavorful herb-based products exported to more than 45 countries worldwide. 

Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science or a related field.
• Proven experience in data analysis and data modeling.
• Proficiency in PowerBI, Excel, and/or Notebook.
• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server, Azure Datastorage Datalake and Delta Parquet file format. 
• Experience in modeling with visual methods like UML or Entity Relationship Models.
• Strong knowledge of SQL databases: solid experience in developing and maintaining T-SQL scripts; knowledge of documenting business logic out of SQL scripts.
• Experience in Microsoft Fabrics and Azure (or alternatively Databricks): architectural skills on Microsoft Fabrics, data ingestion through MS Fabrics technologies from various sources, an SQL accessible source is strong nice to have. Skilled in design, developing, maintaining and monitoring data pipelines.
• Experience in Azure Datafactory, MS Fabrics Onelake (Azure Datastorage Datalake v2 with Delta Parquet files) and understanding the difference between MS Fabrics and Azure Databricks is a big plus. 
• Solid experience in PowerBI data modeling and reporting: understanding how to use MS Fabrics out of Power BI and familiarity with the difference between a "traditional" Power BI setup and a MS Fabrics Power BI setup. Ability to manage the migration of "traditional" Power BI Reports to MS Fabrics based Reports. Knowledge in PowerQuery/DAX is a plus.
• Excellent English speaking skills both written and spoken.
