Qualifications:
Bachelor Degree in Human Resources, At least 7 years of relevant experience.Key responsabilities:
- Provide HR leadership to management
- Advise on HR issues and strategies
Provides support to leaders in the implementation of the business strategy: The first responsibility of the HR Business Partner will be to advise leaders in regards to HR issues and provide recommendations in order to obtain the greatest efficiencies possible while ensuring the fair treatment of all employees.
Coaches managers and employees: The HR Business Partner will collaborate with leaders in order to identify the skills needed to support the business strategy and simultaneously, work on a succession plan for key positions and potential employees. The incumbent will build strong relationships with the workforce in order to be aware of employees' interests, skills to be able to orient their career decisions.
Takes on advisory and coaching roles with the leadership team: In collaboration with the Director, Industrial Relations, the incumbent will advise leaders in matters of labor relations, interpretation and application of collective agreements, labor legislation, in compliance with company policies and procedures.
Ensures appropriate management of compensation programs: In collaboration with Total Rewards and the HR Leaders, the HR Business Partner will ensure that the management of annual salary reviews and of the variable compensation programs will comply with company standards and objectives.
Participates in development of HR programs and special projects: This person will be an important collaborator in the development and deployment of HR programs and will ensure the constant sharing of the best practices with the HR team.
Bachelor Degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations or equivalent
Must have at least 7 years of relevant experience
Required availability to travel across Canada and must have a valid driver’s license
Very strong knowledge of industrial relations
Needs strong communication skills in French and English in order to support managers and employees throughout Canada
Must have the desire to work in a fast paced environment with providing an excellent customer service to managers and employees
