Job description

Oracle R12 Senior SCM Lead
12+ Months Contract
Remote work with 25-50% travel during critical milestones over a 12-month duration.


The role involves leading and executing Oracle R12 SCM implementations, focusing on aligning Oracle SCM capabilities with business requirements. It demands expertise in Oracle R12 Order Management, Shipping, Advanced Pricing, and experience with Oracle Fusion integration. This position requires strong functional and technical skills to manage end-to-end project lifecycles, drive process improvements, and ensure successful deployments.

Experience:
  • 18+ years total experience, with 15+ years in Oracle EBS Projects.
  • Strong experience with Oracle EBS SCM modules, including configurations and solutions design.
Core SCM Functional Expertise:
  1. Supplier Management: Supplier performance evaluation, collaboration, compliance, and portals.
  2. Cost Management: Analysis, control, and reporting for SCM operations.
  3. Order Management: Sales order processing, fulfillment, and Advanced Pricing.
  4. Inventory Management: Optimization, replenishment, tracking, and lifecycle management.
  5. Warehouse & Logistics: Warehouse configuration, shipment planning, and transportation tracking.
  6. Financial Impact Analysis: Cost-benefit analysis, profitability, and budgeting in supply chains.
Technical Skills:
  • Basic SQL/PL-SQL knowledge for querying and understanding Oracle data structures.
  • Familiarity with Oracle EBS integration with third-party systems and Fusion platforms.
  • Custom report development and functional specification documentation.
Business Analysis:
  • Process mapping, gap analysis, and requirements gathering through workshops and stakeholder interviews.
  • Ability to propose innovative solutions tailored to specific business needs.
Communication & Leadership:
  • Facilitate UAT, conduct training sessions, and manage stakeholder expectations.
  • Strong presentation, documentation, and collaboration skills.
