About the role

At Tietoevry Care’s Data & AI unit we are reshaping healthcare and social care services by providing our customers with data- driven solutions and cloud data platforms. Our Data & AI team consists of high-end professionals working in data science, data engineering, data modeling, data advisory, cloud solutions, security and software development.

As a Data Engineer, you will have a key role in developing and designing data driven services and solutions for our Lakehouse Analytics - platform. You will be working in diverse teams consisting of top-level developers and customer’s experts.

We are looking for someone with

  • Professional software development experience

  • Hands-on experience in data driven solutions

  • Software development skills in Python and SQL (or other software programming languages)

  • Knowledge of big data related technologies like Databricks, Azure Synapse or Apache Spark

  • Experience in cloud solutions

  • Passion to continuously learn new things and aim higher

  • Passion to build great products and solve complex customer problems

  • Confidence and willingness to take responsibility, honesty and openness as a member of a team

  • Excellent communications skills in English and Finnish.

It would be beneficial if you also have experience in

  • Social care and healthcare data

  • Data warehouse, data lakes or lakehouse

  • Dimensional data modeling, star schemas and data marts

  • Development of Power BI
