Job description

As a Junior Project Manager at Wundermart, you will coordinate the design, plan and build of Wundermart shops with a focus on managing the stock and materials essential to the shop-building and AfterCare process. Your addition to the team will be key in our scale-up journey. Does this sound like you? Read further!

What you will do.

As a Junior Project Manager you are responsible for the building and aftercare process of Wundermart shops. You will own and oversee the planning process, collaborating with external partners and internal teams. Moreover, your valuable insights and creative, problem-solving thinking will be key in improving processes where needed, especially in helping us manage our shop AfterCare.

As a key member of the Shop Build team within the wider Customer Success team, you will take ownership of managing the stock and materials essential to the shop-building process. This includes maintaining accurate inventory lists, coordinating the movement and storage of parts and ensuring materials are readily available for each project, new shops and our existing network. This responsibility will be a key performance indicator (KPI) for the role, contributing to streamlined project execution and supporting the team in maintaining efficiency across all builds.

To make sure that you maintain the quality of these responsibilities you must be able to also analyze your work and way of working and define improvement projects that you will execute.

The ideal candidate is extremely flexible, well organized, analytical, self-assured, entrepreneurial, and very pragmatic. For this position, it is not only important to have a strong hands-on mentality, but also to be able to delegate and set priorities where needed. You are well organized and skilled in creating contingency plans and reacting quickly to changing priorities, enjoying the challenge of coming up with solutions and remaining calm and pragmatic when direction unavoidably changes. Wundermart is growing rapidly, so together with our team of Project Managers and other internal teams you will collaborate in developing the roadmap of our scaling-up journey.

Your credentials.

  • Ideally you hold a Bachelor's degree and have between 1 – 2 years of work experience

  • You already had a first experience in project management in a previous job, overseeing processes and delegating tasks; preferably in a retail and fast-paced environment;

  • You thrive in the ever-changing needs of a growing organization;

  • You work pragmatically and hands-on, and you have excellent time management skills, setting up priorities accordingly;

  • You speak and write fluently in English;

  • You live in or at a commutable distance from Amsterdam;

  • You hold a valid driver's license;

  • You are available for 40 hours per week, including at least three days at our Amsterdam HQ office.

What we offer.

  • A dynamic role with a wide variety of tasks and plenty of creative freedom.

  • Occasional travel to international locations.

  • A salary budgeted at 34.000-40.000 EUR/year, with room for growth.

  • Flexible working arrangements.

  • Unlimited vacation days.

  • Regular team events.

  • Lunch at our HQ in Amsterdam.

  • ...and more.

Wundermart is not just your ordinary workplace – we are a vibrant community driven by innovation, collaboration, and a shared passion for data-driven excellence. As a rapidly growing company, we are dedicated to creating an environment where our team members can thrive personally and professionally. Our company motto is ‘never settle’. We encourage our employees to be open minded and listen to each other. To dare to make mistakes, bringing new insight moving forward. To take ownership of our work and always look for opportunities to create better solutions for existing problems.
