The challenge

Reporting to the ANZ Managing Director, The ANZ Director, Solutions Consulting will be responsible for building, leading and managing a team of presales solution consulting professionals focused on supporting the sales of all Adobe software solutions (Experience Cloud, Document Cloud, and Creative Cloud) and services. This includes ensuring resources are effectively aligned to Adobe's business as well as driving the growth and development of the team.

The Solution Consulting Team will strategically support the Digital Experience and Digital Media Enterprise Sales teams. This individual will be a strong cross-functional leader partnering closely with all functions within Adobe ANZ and the APAC region. This individual will contribute to the development and execution of our strategic go to market plans in support of the identified businesses including effective alignment of Solution Consulting with other technology-oriented teams including Professional Services, Digital Strategy, Consulting, Customer Success Managers, and Customer Care.

What you’ll do

  • Manages the pre-sales technical activities and organisation for the development and implementation of complex products, applications and solutions.

  • Achieve and or exceed Experience Cloud, Document Cloud, and Creative Cloud sales goals.

  • Serves as company liaison on specific technical projects with strategic named accounts.

  • Strategic point of contact for Product Management and Product Marketing for field input regarding the development of new products and solutions.

  • Interface and build strong relationships with internal departments across the company.

  • Ensure high performance across the ANZ Solution Consulting team by constantly evaluating the skill set and challenging the team to a higher level of performance.

  • Take a leadership role in evolving and defining a strategic role for solution consulting across all enterprise business lines for Adobe.

  • Communicate and coordinate with other peer roles in the solution consulting organisation to create consistency, leverage experience of other regions, and ensure the ANZ Solution Consulting organisation is communicating a consistent message and vision.

What you need to succeed

  • Extensive enterprise software experience selling into many verticals.

  • Proven experience in leading and managing a presales technical team.

  • Superior customer-facing attributes both internally and externally.

  • Driver; execution-oriented solution consulting leader.

  • Experience in being a strong business partner for a sales executive leading a business with a significant amount of revenue ideally north of $50-100M+.
     

Strong operational excellence to include:

  • Analysis of resource allocation.

  • Strong Budget/Expense Management.

  • Demonstrated track record in building and recruiting high performance teams. 

  • Hands-on-skills to lead and manage the business.

  • Ability to manage a geographically distributed organization across geos & verticals.

  • Personal attributes of this executive must align with Adobe's culture.

  • Ability to scale with the business as it grows.

  • Building a first-class relationship with the key Enterprise Business Unit.
