Title: Backend Developer (GoLang)
Location: Remote (Working in PST time zone)
Job type: Contract
Duration: 6+ Months (With possibile extension)
Number of interviews: 2 internal and 1 client
Client: Software company

Job Description:

10+ years of experience as a software developer. Must be an experienced coder
Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent work experience

Must have skills: GoLang

Experience in enterprise architecture:

SAAS/PAAS experience appreciated
Follow and evolve Gestalt-'s philosophy of scalable design patterns
Expert in Golang
Concurrency
gRPC
Websockets
Http/2 and Http/3
Integrating components built in Golang with browser-based clients preferably with applications written in React Roles and responsibilities
Are an amazing software craftsman who is disciplined and passionate about creating high quality software.
Have experience in creating loosely coupled SRP based server components with the following qualities:
high performing
resilient
highly available
easily scalable
Have expert knowledge in TCP, UDP, HTTP to leverage benefits of appropriate protocol for problem
Have experience with real-time streaming of big images (upwards of 3GB per file)
Have an open mind and an opinion but not opinionated, a team player.
