Virtualization Engineer
Westminster, CO or remote (based in Colorado)
Mountain Standard Time
3+ month contract with potential to go perm

Our prestigious, cutting-edge space technology client is seeking an experienced Virtualization Engineer to join their IT Vulnerability Management Fusion Team.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Manage VMware infrastructure, including deployment, maintenance, and optimization.
• Implement and monitor patching processes to ensure compliance with SLAs.
• Collaborate with IT teams to support server virtualization and vulnerability management efforts.
• Provide guidance on the latest virtualization trends and technologies.
• Document best practices and configurations for VMware systems.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 5+ years of VMware administration experience.
• Expertise in VMware vSphere, ESXi, and vCenter.
• Familiarity with patch automation tools and techniques.
• Strong knowledge of disaster recovery and backup strategies.
