Job Description

We’re seeking a proactive and tech-savvy Administrative Assistant / Project Manager to join our client’s fast-paced accounting team. In this role, you’ll be the linchpin of operational efficiency, implementing new systems, managing complex schedules, and ensuring seamless communication across the organization. You’ll have the exciting opportunity to spearhead the adoption of Slack for project management, revolutionizing how the team collaborates and tracks tasks. Responsibilities
  • Revolutionize the accounting manager’s workflow by implementing and maintaining a cutting-edge project management system using Slack
  • Orchestrate a complex calendar, coordinating meetings and travel plans with precision
  • Transform raw data into actionable insights through expert Excel spreadsheet management
  • Serve as the communication hub, facilitating internal dialogue and ensuring timely follow-ups
  • Craft and optimize to-do lists, guaranteeing task completion and team productivity
  • Pioneer the implementation of new organizational tools and processes
  • Support accounting operations with basic task management and classifications

Requirements
  • Fluency in English and Spanish, enabling seamless bilingual communication
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data manipulation, sorting, and subtotaling
  • Proven experience with project management tools, with a strong preference for Slack expertise
  • Exceptional organizational skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities
  • Self-starter mentality with a proactive approach to problem-solving
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles (preferred but not required)
  • Availability to work full-time, Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 6 PM Eastern Time
  • Comfortable with remote work and virtual collaboration tools
