Join our team as a Senior Coordinator, Legal Support and play a pivotal role in managing customer sales orders from contract award through closeout. This dynamic position offers an exciting opportunity to work with cross-functional teams, handling everything from contract file management to preparing key contract documents. You’ll be responsible for ensuring the smooth flow of contract administration, providing essential support to contract administrators, and mentoring junior coordinators. What YOU Will Do:

  • Independently establish, maintain, and revise contract files in accordance with departmental procedures throughout the contract lifecycle, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Prepare and distribute contract documents, including summaries, proposals, and correspondence, while maintaining accurate records and logs.
  • Manage incoming inquiries, calls, and mail, directing them to the appropriate personnel in a timely manner.
  • Coordinate logistics for meetings, travel, calendar entries, and expense reports for Contract Administrators.
  • Monitor and administer export license applications (D-Trade) and security device requirements for compliance with contract regulations.
  • Prepare basic contract documents (e.g., proposals, export agreements, PIEAs), subject to Contract Administrator approval.
  • Oversee customer web portals for order receipt and management, ensuring smooth order processing.
  • Mentor and train junior Contract Coordinators, providing guidance and fostering teamwork within the department.
  • Ensure superior customer service, building long-term relationships and addressing customer needs with a focus on quality and dependability.
  • Demonstrate effective time management, attention to detail, and clear communication in all contract administration tasks.

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract 
  • Typically requires an AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience

  • Previous experience working with SAP, is preferred, with the ability to efficiently navigate and utilize the system for contract administration and order processing tasks.
  • Strong organizational skills are preferred, with the ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and priorities while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Time management skills are preferred, with the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and ensure timely completion of all responsibilities.
  • A keen attention to detail is preferred, ensuring all contract documents and administrative tasks are completed with precision and accuracy.
  • Previous experience in problem-solving and critical thinking is preferred, with the ability to offer creative solutions and adapt effectively to new situations.
  • Experience working collaboratively within teams is preferred, fostering a positive and cooperative work environment.

The salary range for this role is 44,000 USD - 102,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
