We are seeking a skilled and experienced SAP IM/WM Analyst to lead and manage a digital organization supporting the IM/WM value stream. As an SAP IM/WM Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in our operations plan to deliver SAP S/4HANA transformation and ensuring its effective implementation and optimization. Your expertise in operational plan to deliver processes, system design, and configuration. Executive communication will be essential in streamlining our plan to deliver operations and enabling data-driven decision-making.

You will work with the business to strategically plan, evaluate, and design optimized ERP processes and digital solutions. Communicate regularly with executive leadership to provide clarity of strategic direction, tactical execution and schedule.

Candidate needs to possess SAP IM/WM business process knowledge in conjunction with SAP functional and configuration expertise. Ability to listen to understand end goals and collaborate; ability to summarize and clearly communicate business outcomes based on technology decisions; experience working across different functions and business units and implementing a common process. 

** This individual can sit at any Collins domestic location or remote. **

What YOU will do:

  • Participate in the Digital Technology activities for the SAP IM/WM workstream of the RTX ERP Transformation program. 

  • Facilitate creation of new and innovative solutions to support digital and business strategies and common design aspirations.  

  • Evaluate options for bolt-on applications and make recommendations based on functional requirements, desired RTX operating model, and industry best practices. 

  • Identify high value improvement opportunities within SAP IM/WM functions and lead the design of a future-state landscape of digital solutions and processes changes to deliver this value. 

  • Coordinate across business units and functions in documenting options and decision-making criteria. 

  • Evaluate technical solutions and make recommendations based on functional requirements, compliance, and technical constraints, desired RTX operating model, and industry best practices.  

  • Ensure compliance with operational regulations, contractual obligations, and internal controls. 

  • Communicate with executive leadership regarding matters of critical and strategic importance to the organization. Frequently conduct briefings to executives both within and outside of the ERP Transformation program.  

  • Responsible for successful delivery within each phase of the program: 

    • Blueprint – detailed design for SAP IM/WM processes, utilizing best practices and maximizing process harmonization opportunities; evaluation of gaps and making scope decisions. 

    • Build – guide an integrated team of external resources and internal RTX team members in the configuration and development of SAP IM/WM system capabilities. 

    • Testing – oversee the creation and execution of test scenarios and scripts; work alongside business leaders and testers to ensure proper functionality and defect resolution. 

    • Cutover & Hypercare – ensure successful migration from legacy systems to new environments. Support go-live and the continuation of RTX business’ financial and operational performance.

Qualifications you must have:

  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future. RTX will not offer sponsorship for this position (U.S. Citizen or Green Card Holder).

  • Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 12 years of relevant experience.

  • Inventory and Warehouse management experience.

  • Experience with SAP

  • Experience with WM/EWM

  • Up to 50% travel in the first year (Domestic and International)

  • Must have an issued Passport.

The salary range for this role is 96,000 USD - 200,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
