The Impact You’ll Make in this Role
As a GTE Meeting & Event Planning Manager, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

  • Develop and build GTE Meeting & Event Planning Structure  
  • Establish a Meeting & Event Policy to ensure transparency, mitigate risks, contribute to cost control, and align best practices
  • Strategic Meetings Management Requirements Gathering, Application Development, Support
  • Assist with Strategic Planning & Stakeholder Updates
  • System Testing & Integration including Third Parties
  • Technology, Reporting, Metric and Value Realization
  • Deliver best in class program
  • Manage internal and external partnerships & communication of services levels
  • On-going program optimization, continuous improvement and program expansion

The person hired for the position will lead in establishing and developing strategies with a focus on meeting and event planning for Global Travel and Expense (GTE), partnering with key stakeholders across all regions. Engage global, regional, and local resources to build and adopt technologies, drive innovation, operational efficiencies and ensure alignment worldwide.

Leads and manage cross-functional projects to improve GTE meeting and event planning processes and policies that allow for automation to bring competitive advantages globally to deliver results. Provide support for the company as part of the core GTE Team. Manage relationships, internal and external, with key clients such as Sourcing, Finance, Ethics & Compliance, IT, to drive value realization, and process efficiency.

Your Skills and Expertise 

To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher AND seven (7) years combined experience in Global Travel & Expense or Meeting & Event Planning Services in a private, public, government or military environment

OR

  • High School Diploma/GED AND fourteen (14) years of combined experience in Global Travel & Expense or Meeting & Event Planning Services in a private, public, government or military environment

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

  • Solid understanding of GTE and Meeting & Event Planning Servies including travel and meeting technologies such as Cvent
  • Organizational skills including ability to deal with ambiguity and ability to break down complex work
  • Analytical skills including ability to gather requirements, create design specifications, and identify through test cases
  • Demonstrated ability to learn quickly and deliver results in a high-pressure, high-profile environment
  • Proven ability to identify, focus, and own high priority tasks. Ability to manage time effectively according to priorities and timelines
  • Interpersonal, written, and team collaboration skills
  • Experience working in a regulated environment subject to compliance controls
  • Supplier Management Experience
  • Project Management Experience
  • International Experience

This range represents a good faith estimate for this position.
