Job description

What this Job Entails: 

In this role, you will support the delivery, test, and turn-up of terrestrial network links globally. You will be responsible for working with fiber vendor partners on the scheduling of circuit delivery to meet internal milestones. You will review fiber test results and turn-over packages to ensure compliance with our network standards. You will report and escalate delivery issues as they arise to ensure downstream teams are aware of any changes to delivery dates. You will ensure network inventory is updated to accurately capture circuit data and circuit acceptance dates.

Your Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Highly technical and analytical.

  • Excellent at creating and maintaining working relationships across all levels and disciplines, receptive to feedback and input from others, and quick to apply changes.

  • Work with internal subject matter experts to gather information, synthesize business and technical concepts, build strategic business metrics, and write original content that drives decision-making at the highest levels of the organization.

  • Work with global telecom vendors to deliver circuits per plan

  • Manage delivery of ordered circuits to meet plan time frames

  • Develop and maintain long-term vendor relationships globally

  • Provide supporting data for vendor management score cards

  • Participate and support periodic services reviews with key vendors

  • Maintain circuit inventory and reporting mechanisms Willing to travel 10% of the time

Required Qualifications/Skills:

  • 3+ years of experience with ordering, delivery, and vendor management in the telecommunications industry

  • Program Management degree or certification or equivalent work experience in the infrastructure or hyper scaling industry

  • Networks with senior internal and external personnel in own area of expertise

  • Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions

  • Experience working with project management teams, resolving conflict, and meeting schedule timelines

  • Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, documentation)

  • Ability to work on multiple projects and assignments concurrently

  • Self-starter who is able to quickly learn new tools and gain familiarity with new processes and technologies with minimal assistance

  • In-depth experience creating spreadsheets, presentation material, and project/process documentation

  • Strong observational and analytical skills, including: ability to collect, organize, analyze and disseminate significant amounts of information, strong attention to detail and accuracy, ability to track and report metrics, and manage risks

  • Proven ability to collaborate with stakeholders and communicate project updates to client executives.

  • Familiarity with various project management methodologies

Salary Range

$75,595.00 - $126,000.00 USD (Salary)
  • Please note that the salary information provided herein is base pay only (gross); it does not include other forms of compensation which may or may not apply to this specific position, namely, performance-based bonuses, benefits-related payments, or other general incentives - none of which are guaranteed, may be subject to specific eligibility requirements, and are wholly within the discretion of Astreya to remit.
  • Further, the salary information noted above is a range that consists of a minimum and maximum rate of pay for this specific position. Where an applicant or employee is placed on this range will depend and be contingent on objective, documented work-related considerations like education, experience, certifications, licenses, preferred qualifications, among other factors.
