As an enabler of Enterprise Strategic Priority for Medicare Advantage Growth, the DMOM program will drive a competitive administrative cost structure while delivering consistent, compliant operational performance. This will be accomplished through the implementation of a new operating model – transformation across people, process, and technology.
The Business Acceptance Testing Senior Advisor is responsible for partnering with development, configuration, process, business and product owners, quality engineering to drive testing efforts across the solution. They will also collaborate with testing and infrastructure partners to ensure data and environment requirements are met and necessary integrations are available to support end to end business process testing. They will be responsible to identify improvement opportunities utilizing automation and will apply efficient practices to improve maintainability and supportability of capabilities. Responsibility will include the research, review and leverage test automation frameworks, troubleshooting issues in scripts executions, identify automation candidates to drive efficiencies.
This individual will work with Business Acceptance Testers (BAT) /User Acceptance Testers (UAT) testers, technology, and solution teams to develop and execute automated capabilities for regression testing that includes business end to end, compliance and configuration testing. This individual must possess strong technical knowledge on frameworks for web based, desktop and vendor applications. This individual will be responsible to leverage reusable capabilities where possible and design scalable, robust solutions to reduce maintenance overhead
Responsibilities:
Responsible to develop partnerships with Configuration teams on enrollment, benefits, global and procedure codes, and provider configuration.
Responsible to identify configuration change requests, building test strategy, scenarios and run executions
Drive and identify automation opportunities decreasing manual intervention increasing efficiency
Support / coordinate with Quality Engineers for automation opportunities
Support / coordinate environment and data
Support/coordinate with intelligent automation team to reuse capabilities offered
Compiles test results data, prepares and reports test results both formally and informally
Drive end-to-end process solutions
Design, develop and implement test automation for the testing of product and solutions.
Understand how changes impact work upstream and downstream including various back end and front-end architectural modules
Closely interact with both onsite and offshore team members. The onsite and offshore interactions include scrum team members
Implement automation to consume test data conditions and partner closely with Data team to obtain the data.
Develop and execute comprehensive suites of automation test plans, test cases, pipeline integration for continuous validation
Utilizing automation tools to identify bottlenecks and thresholds in existing code
Identifying opportunities for quality improvements
Recognizing needs for improvement in existing automation frameworks and processes
Developing subject matter expertise and building knowledge of supported assets
Analyzing and communicating test results
Troubleshoot issues with automation script failures
Participating in the on-going organization-wide transition to Agile including participation in delivery teams
Continuously expanding knowledge in the area of Agile to effectively integrate best practices into delivery activities
Performing defect tracking
Communicating obstacles, issues and risks effectively in order to identify practical solutions
Desired Skills:
Must be a current employee or contractor with The Cigna Group, Evernorth Health Services, or one of their subsidiaries.
7+ years of experience in automation, quality engineering or equivalent or bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, computer science, software development or related field.
3+ years of SME knowledge and experience surrounding EOB (Explanation of benefits), EOP (Explanation of Payment) and IDN (Integrated Denial Notification). Actual hands-on experience in programming in one or more of the scripting or programming languages like Java, Python, Typescript, Go
3-4 years of hands-on SQL experience. Must be able to read and write code.
Experience with Selenium and/or Cypress, Blue Prism
Working experience building front end and backend automation frameworks
Experience with API virtualization or mock data creation via automation script
Experience with testing practices and industry tools such as Microfocus UFT, Gremlin
Solid analytical, development, interpersonal, written, verbal and problem-solving skills
15-25% Travel may be necessary
Off hours/weekend work might be needed

For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of 110,300 - 183,900 USD / yearly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.
This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
