Overview:
Intelligent Waves is seeking a highly skilled and results-driven Senior Account Executive to lead growth initiatives for our cutting-edge cybersecurity technology solutions. This role is pivotal in driving sales across the Department of Defense (DoD) and federal markets, fostering vendor partnerships, and aligning our product portfolio with market demands.

Location & Travel: This will be a Remote role with the ability to support travel (30%) for customer visits and territory marketing events. Travel will be reimbursed based on GSA Per Diem rates and DoD Joint Travel Regulations (JTR).
Security Clearance: The Senior Account Executive must be a United States Citizen and hold a current DoD Secret security clearance or higher.
Employees are required to follow all company and customer site COVID-19 protocols.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute growth strategies with both short-term and long-term objectives for cybersecurity technology solutions.
- Manage and align the cybersecurity product portfolio with market demand and business goals.
- Monitor competitor activities to identify advantages and develop strategic responses.
- Build and maintain strategic relationships with technology vendors to foster collaboration and drive revenue.
- Collaborate with Sales and Marketing to develop enablement materials and go-to-market strategies.
- Engage with key customers to understand their cybersecurity needs and provide tailored solutions.
- Drive sales and technology adoption across all branches of the DoD by acquiring new business and expanding existing relationships.
- Leverage deep knowledge of DoD procurement programs, GSA, contracting mechanisms, and the federal partner ecosystem.
- Demonstrate a proven track record in channel-driven models, meeting sales quotas in complex markets.
- Set goals, forecast pipeline, and track progress against objectives using sales tools.
- Utilize Salesforce, 6Sense, ZoomInfo, Outreach, Sales Navigator, and Clari to drive efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree.
- Proven Federal sales experience (5-8 years minimum) growing and successfully managing multiple opportunities.
- Technical sales experience within a government contracting company (not as a reseller/VAR), selling both technology products and accompanying services.
- Ability to support travel for customer visits and territory marketing events.
- Excellent communication (verbal, written, and presentation) and interpersonal skills (outgoing and personable).
- Establish and cultivate strong direct customer and Partner focused relationships and work seamlessly within a matrixed environment.
- Deep Knowledge of DoD agencies sales and associated contracting mechanisms, GSA, special programs, and obstacles within the Federal procurement process.
- Proven track record for meeting sales quota in a broad, diverse and complex market.
