Job description

Honor exists to expand the world’s capacity to care.

We’re combining high tech with high-touch to deliver better home care for aging adults, better jobs for Care Professionals, and entirely new offerings to support the aging journey, at scale.

Founded in 2014, and now a Series E funded “Unicorn” valued at over $1B, Honor leads the world’s largest home care network with the most advanced care platform. Our August 2021 acquisition of Home Instead has created a global company that’s revolutionizing how society cares for older adults, their families, and Care Professionals.

The Honor Care Platform combines local care and the most advanced technology to bring the highest quality care to more aging adults.

Grow at Honor as part of a united team where everyone shows up authentically, shares ideas bravely, and solves complex problems!

About the Work:

Honor is poised to make home care more accessible and affordable for millions through government payer programs.  We are looking for an experienced and inspired leader to build and grow this transformative line of business—from its earliest stages to its fullest potential.

Is this role right for you?

You might be the perfect fit if:

  • You combine the deep expertise of a healthcare insider with the pace and passion of a startup founder
  • You are a seasoned product leader who launches quickly, builds iteratively, and understands how technology can scale complex real-world operations
  • You bring substantial operational experience, with with a track record of managing P&L, leading through influence, and hitting ambitious targets
  • You’re an exceptional communicator, especially in writing, able to guide opinionated stakeholders to make high-stakes, high-judgment decisions
  • You build trust naturally and share an authentic passion for Honor’s mission to transform home care

What you’ll do in this role:

  • Strategize: Define Honor’s government payer strategy from the ground up, supported by leadership commitment.
  • Build and Launch: Develop and scale government payer lines of business (e.g., Medicare, Medicaid, Veterans Affairs) on Honor’s Care Platform.
  • Roadmap Ownership: Design and own the product roadmap to support government payer programs—identifying features for client service, revenue cycle management, and regulatory compliance, while partnering with engineering teams to deliver.
  • Drive Results: Set and achieve growth, profitability, and quality targets for the government payer segment, collaborating with operations to overcome constraints and tackle real-time challenges.
  • Empower Franchisees: Enable franchise owners to thrive in government payer programs through training, platform support, and effective growth strategies.
  • Manage Partnerships: Build and manage strategic relationships for referrals, contracts, credentialing, and billing, while representing Honor in government and industry engagements.
  • Ensure Compliance: Partner with Legal and Compliance to uphold HIPAA and other regulatory requirements.

This role offers a rare chance to build a business from scratch, scale it nationwide, and make a lasting impact on the affordability and accessibility of home care. Join us in expanding the world’s capacity to care.
