As a Latin America Business Development Manager (LATAM BDM), you will drive sales growth for the Protective and Monitoring Relay (PMR) products within Littelfuse’s Industrial Business Unit (IBU). You will play a key role in executing strategic initiatives, engaging with customers, and managing a regional sales funnel in a dynamic and evolving market.

About the Job:
  • Strategic Execution: Implement corporate strategic growth initiatives (SGOs) in the Latin American region, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.

  • Customer Engagement: Serve as the single point of contact for communications within the assigned territory. Build and maintain relationships with key customers, distributors, and engineering consultants.

  • Technical Expertise: Provide in-depth product knowledge to assist customers, designers, and integrators in identifying applications and driving specifications toward Littelfuse solutions.

  • Opportunity Management: Develop and manage a healthy sales opportunity pipeline, driving opportunities to successful conclusions and providing monthly business forecasts.

  • Training and Advocacy: Conduct technical training sessions, presentations, and seminars for agents, distributors, OEMs, engineering firms, and end users. Represent Littelfuse at industry events such as trade shows, conferences, and customer meetings to enhance the company’s profile in the region.

  • Marketing and Support: Collaborate with marketing teams to create technical materials and promote new products. Support troubleshooting technical issues in collaboration with Product Management and Applications Engineers.

About You:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (MBA is an asset but not required).

  • Fluency in both Spanish and English is required.

  • Strong understanding of electricity, circuits, and control/protection products.

  • Technical sales experience with the ability to communicate with a range of stakeholders, from non-technical to engineering specialists.

  • Proven experience managing sales channels, including manufacturers’ agents and distributors.

  • Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and written communication skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word).
