About the role:
We're on the lookout for an enthusiastic individual to take on the role of Senior Manager, leading the Central Analytics Team at BrowserStack. In this capacity, you'll hold a pivotal position in propelling data-driven decision-making across our organization. Your primary focus will be overseeing a team of proficient analysts and data scientists, utilizing data insights to elevate product performance, enhance customer experience, and refine business strategies.
Desired Experience:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or a related field; an advanced degree is preferred.
Demonstrated experience (10+ years) in analytics, data science, or business intelligence roles, with a focus on SaaS products or technology-driven companies.
Proficient leadership skills with a track record of managing and cultivating high-performing teams.
Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Looker, Tableau, Power BI) and statistical analysis tools (e.g., SQL, Python).
Thorough understanding of data governance principles, data modeling, and database management.
Experience in advanced analytics techniques such as machine learning, predictive modeling, and data mining.
Exceptional communication skills with the ability to translate complex data concepts into business insights and recommendations.
Strong business acumen and strategic thinking, with a history of driving measurable impact through data-driven strategies.
What will you do?
Team Leadership: Guide and mentor a team of analysts and data scientists, nurturing a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning.
Strategic Analytics: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to pinpoint key business inquiries, devise analytical strategies, and deliver actionable insights to bolster strategic initiatives.
Data Governance: Establish policies and procedures for data governance to uphold data accuracy, consistency, and regulatory compliance.
Dashboard Development: Supervise the creation of interactive dashboards and reporting tools to monitor KPIs, track business performance, and furnish real-time insights.
Advanced Analytics: Spearhead advanced analytics endeavors including predictive modeling, machine learning, and AI algorithms to unearth hidden patterns, forecast trends, and optimize business outcomes.
Stakeholder Communication: Present findings and recommendations to executive leadership and key stakeholders, translating intricate data into compelling narratives and actionable strategies.
Continuous Improvement: Identify avenues for process enhancement, automation, and scalability within the analytics function, driving efficiency and efficacy.
Industry Trends: Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in analytics and data science, leveraging insights to foster innovation and gain competitive advantage.
