Accenture Products & Platforms is seeking an experienced Software Sales Director, with a proven track record of over-achievement, who can join our exceptional team and make an immediate impact on our software team.
Our industry-leading software modernizes and streamlines how customers interact with organizations, providing a multi-channel engagement experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Meet and exceed sales targets including SaaS solutions, Cloud Hosting, IO/AO, and Professional Services within specified sales territory, geography, and/or set of targeted accounts for the Accenture public service software.

  • Proactively manage software sales campaigns and close opportunities using deep sales process and software offering or product expertise.

  • Cultivate relationships ranging from C-Level to IT and business leaders to ensure growth of software revenue in complex transformational opportunities.

  • Meet key clients and prospects within established accounts on a regular basis to build and nurture the relationship, as well as look out for further opportunities.

  • Comprehend and effectively communicate Accenture’s overall business strategies, offerings, and technology, how they relate to provide total client business value, and how our software products align with these objectives.

  • Effectively team with the Pre-Sales, Product Management, Professional Services, and Engineering to bring the right resources to the sales effort to ensure a successful pursuit.

Travel may be required for this role. The amount of travel will vary from 25 to 50% depending on business need and client requirements.
 

Here's What You Need:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience with software company operations

  • Minimum 3 years of software sales or project management experience and a track record of exceeding sales goals

  • Minimum of 5 years working with technology modernization for Fortune 500 companies

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years) work experience. (If Associate’s Degree, must have minimum 6 years work experience)   

Bonus Points if you have:

  • Deep knowledge of B2B or B2C processes

  • Broad knowledge of the competitive landscape and marketplace for customer engagement solutions

  • Experience in building and maintaining relationships with mid-level and C-suite executives (CEO, CIO, COO, CAO, etc.

  • Experience in the development and implementation of marketing strategies, campaigns, and offers, and in the origination of new business

  • Proven track record of executing complex sales opportunities

Professional Skills:

  • Persuasive communication skills.

  • Advanced negotiation skills.

  • Self-motivated, persistent, and with a positive mental attitude.

Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in California, Colorado, District of Columbia, Maryland, New York or Washington as set forth below.
